Ball State 56, Western Michigan 53

Excellent game today by the ladies. It took a while for both teams to score, the first points came from a three pointer by Julie DeMuth at 3 minutes into the game. DeMuth had 19 points in the first half alone and finished with 25 total with 16 rebounds. Easily player of the game. Excellent job by Kelsey Corbin and Porchia Green covering Western Michigan's Carrie Moore, who averages over 25 points per game. The ladies held her to 19 today, making the difference in today's game. Moore was called to attempt the potential game-tying three pointer with 6 seconds left in the game. The shot was no good and Ball State wins the quarterfinal game 56-53. Next game will be Friday against Northern Illinois (19-11, 8-8) at 12 noon. Enjoy the photos.

Also while waiting for the Western Michigan's press conference to get over, someone walks in the hallway with a large coat and fancy jewelry on. It was LBJ, the one and only LeBron James. It took a second to recognize him. I looked a second time and completely froze after figuring out who it was. The guy is a monster, I didn't think he was that tall but wow so far that has been the highlight of the trip so far.

On slate for tomorrow: Men's Basketball- Ball State vs. Eastern Michigan at 1 p.m.
