Ball State Volleyball vs. Pacific University
Excellent volleyball game...the Cardinals rallied to win the match 3-2, after losing the first two sets over #9 ranked Pacific University.

Back Home
Time to get back into the routine of school again. It's been nice having two weeks off. Cleveland was fun, and Florida was great. And go figure it's raining right now--the first day back, it's only fitting. I'll have the Disney photos up later this week when I have time.

Ball State 83, Northern Illinois 72
Well. We're going to the MAC Championship. This has all been done by a team effort. All five starters ended with double figures on the day, with Audrey McDonand leading with 18 points. The ladies deserve this. One more game to go. It will be a tough task against Bowling Green, who only has three losses on the season. If they come out the exact same way that they have been this tournament and year, it will be a very good game. Too bad I will be traveling to Florida while they will be playing. I will be missing one big game. I wish them the best of luck and hope to see them in The Big Dance. Enjoy the photos from today.

Round 1 Men's: Eastern Michigan 51, Ball State 48
This game came down to the wire for Ball State. Trailing most of the game, once by 15, they were within two late in the game. The story of the game was defense by both teams. They combined for only 10 field goals in the second half. Ball State was led by Anthony Newell, who had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Eastern Michigan was led by Jesse Bunkley, who had 15 points that all came in the first half and were all three pointers. This concludes the men's season, which was the fourth-worst in school history. With the day off tomorrow, it sounds like a visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be in store. Enjoy the photos.

Ball State 56, Western Michigan 53
Excellent game today by the ladies. It took a while for both teams to score, the first points came from a three pointer by Julie DeMuth at 3 minutes into the game. DeMuth had 19 points in the first half alone and finished with 25 total with 16 rebounds. Easily player of the game. Excellent job by Kelsey Corbin and Porchia Green covering Western Michigan's Carrie Moore, who averages over 25 points per game. The ladies held her to 19 today, making the difference in today's game. Moore was called to attempt the potential game-tying three pointer with 6 seconds left in the game. The shot was no good and Ball State wins the quarterfinal game 56-53. Next game will be Friday against Northern Illinois (19-11, 8-8) at 12 noon. Enjoy the photos.
Also while waiting for the Western Michigan's press conference to get over, someone walks in the hallway with a large coat and fancy jewelry on. It was LBJ, the one and only LeBron James. It took a second to recognize him. I looked a second time and completely froze after figuring out who it was. The guy is a monster, I didn't think he was that tall but wow so far that has been the highlight of the trip so far.
On slate for tomorrow: Men's Basketball- Ball State vs. Eastern Michigan at 1 p.m.

Greetings From Cleveland
I have arrived in Cleveland and so far it has been decent. We're staying at the Comfort Inn and it's not too bad at all. Really close to the arena, which will make things really easy. Decent view of the city. I will be updating this after each night's games. On slate for tomorrow: Women's Basketball- Ball State vs. Western Michigan at 1 p.m.

Portrait Assignment

Another Sunday afternoon spent in the studio working on an assignment. This assignment was portrait shots. I decided to get my niece since most other people in our class would probably use people our age. Here's the two photos from today. It's time to go pack for Cleveland now, I'll be sure to update on how the MAC Tourney goes.
