Komets take controversial advantage

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – After erasing a 23-point deficit at the all-star break, the Fort Wayne Komets captured the Tarry Cup in their final game of the season, shutting out the Kalamazoo Wings 3-0 in front of 1,500 Komets fans at Wings Stadium. Komet Player Awards/ Playoff Schedule

From the last game of the season as the Komets defeat Muskegon 3-2 in a shootout, meaning both teams are tied for first place with one game remaining.

In their final game, the Komets blanked the Kalamazoo Wings 3-0, while Muskegon loses big to Quad City 7-2, which means the Komets have erased a 22-point deficit that the Fury had with a month and a half left in the season and finish with 106 points while Muskegon finished with 104 points. As long as they keep the momentum, look for the Komets to do some damage in the post-season.

Round one: vs. Schedule:
Friday April 13- At Fort Wayne, 8 PM
Saturday April 14- At Fort Wayne, 7:30 PM
Sunday April 15- At Chicago, 5 PM
